RFID, another reason to hate it.

Howdy folks,
Well anyone who knows me and my faith in Jesus Christ knows I'm not a fan of RFID technology. Sure in the right hands it could be useful and beneficial to some, but I FIRMLY believe the risks it carries to our freedom out weighs any benefits it might have. I'm specifically thinking about Rev. 13:6 but this video also shows other issues.

BR'ER MARC ~
I just jumped over here to wish you a "Happy Baby Jesus Day" on "Baby Jesus Day", and discovered this post.

I'm not sure how I missed this one, but somehow or other I surely did. Short on time at the moment, but within the next few days I will make it a point to watch the video that you've provided a URL to.

Thanks, man. Sorry I'm so incredibly late in acknowledging this blog bit. It probably got posted at a time when a lot of other blogs I "Follow" were also posting quite a bit, and it must-a gotten buried on my Dashboard very quickly.

I just watched that video.
Wow! BR'ER that was too much! This is the first I'd ever heard about this criminal technology.

I only have one credit card and I just checked it to see if it displays that symbol. Fortunately, it does not. Otherwise, you can be absolutely certain that I would be acquiring one of those protective sleeves for it, at the very least.

Stephen,
As of yet I don't have a protective sheath. But given that I need a new wallet I think I'll get the wallet version. Crazy thing is their implementing technology to trace every product. Down to how purchased the Coke can found on the street near such and such. Imagine being tied to some random coke can. Getting a fine for not recyling a coke can. What if your buddy came by had a coke and took it with him? He leaves coke can on the corner of 9th and your f**ed, and you get a 200 dollar fine, 10 hours community service, and three days in jail. The technology is there. They just need to implement it.
